This year World Championship was almsot similar to last years, except there was 24 teams and not 16. In finals was again SK Telecom T1 against Samsung. But now it was absolute disaster for SK Telecom T1. They got crushed by Samsung, with final score 3-0. Faker, midlaner for SK Telecom T1, cried on stage. This was the last time SK Telecom T1 appeared in finals of World Championship.
